This research also evaluates the effectiveness of Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) processes in settling commercial disputes that extend across national lines. As trade and e-commerce become more globalised, traditional dispute resolution methods have been demonstrated to be inadequate in terms of cost, time, and accessibility. ODR is a viable solution that uses technology to facilitate the dispute settlement process. In this regard, the following study undertakes a comparative analysis of online dispute resolution (ODR) systems in various legal systems, specifically focusing on their effectiveness encompassing procedural fairness, the resolution enforceability, and user satisfaction. “The primary jurisdictions examined include the European Union, USA and certain countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The investigation reveals significant gaps in legal infrastructure, regulatory strategies, and cultural attitudes toward ODR. Essentially, the report reviews best practices and proposes potential harmonisation opportunities in order to increase the effectiveness of Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) on an international level. This study draws from case study and user survey data to report on the outcomes from the mediation process in ODR. Findings suggest that while information and communication technology (ICTs) can enhance the accessibility of justice services and relieve some of the demands on traditional courts, challenges still persist – including the digital divide, cyber-security concerns, and differences in legal standards. This paper contains recommendations for policymakers, legal practitioners and ODR vendors to incorporation ODR in the international legal ecosystem. This will guarantee that ODR becomes a powerful tool for a cost-effective and fair resolution of cross-border economic disputes
