This study investigates the disparities in rural infrastructure funding schemes and their effects on regional development in Jind District, Haryana. Using a mixed-methods approach and data from 400 households, the research analyzes how socio-economic and demographic factors influence access to infrastructure, and how disparities in such access affect regional growth, wealth distribution, and social inclusion. The study employs descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and reliability tests to assess the effectiveness of government interventions. Results highlight significant gaps in access to key infrastructure sectors such as roads, energy, water, and sanitation, with critical implications for economic and social outcomes. While government and institutional interventions have improved basic services, persistent inequalities especially among marginalized groups underscore the need for targeted, inclusive, and context-specific policies to achieve balanced regional development.
